President & Founder—Judy Capps
Originally from San Antonio, TX, Judy graduated from Baylor University in 1981 with a BBA degree. She and her husband Steve became co-owner of Capps Insurance Agency in 1983 and merged the agency with the largest agency in the state Texas in 2016.
As a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church (1988 to 2017), Judy has served as a teacher, committee member, and Co-Freedom Minister alongside her husband, Steve. Judy also served as the Community Bible Study Senior Leader for 10 years and the Area Director for 2 years.
In 2012, Judy and Steve began Hope Ministries of Northeast Texas in response to a need in the nation to assist single mothers and senior women in poverty. Judy works one-on-one with single moms, collaborates with her gifted team, and travels as a speaker to encourage and challenge women to rise above the status quo and to be who they were created to be.
Steve and Judy have three children, Jessica, Amanda, and Kelsey, and 11 grandchildren.
Regina Glass—House Mom
In 2018, Regina and her daughter, Journey, joined Hope Ministries as program participants after graduating a year-long, faith-based program designed to help women deal with life complicating problems such as addiction and abuse. Upon arrival at Hope, Regina discovered a passion for serving her fellow participants through encouragement, prayer, and practical helps. She desires to see women and children set free and live for the glory of the Lord.
Regina is currently enrolled at Northeast Texas Community College and will graduate December of 2019 with an Associate’s Degree in Office Technology. Regina is a Christian Women Job Corp graduate, scholarship recipient, and CWJC Nationally Certified Site Coordinator. She recently completed training under Kathy Tolleson in Prophetic Counseling and looks forward to becoming a Certified Life Coach.
Regina joined the Hope staff as “Mom on the Grounds” and is responsible for after-care during evenings and weekends and takes a rotation in teaching the Freedom Class on Tuesday nights.
Regina is the first participant to rise up in leadership in this ministry.
Tania Wilson—Program Administrator
Tania Lehbarck Wilson serves as Program Administrator at Hope Ministries of NET where she is responsible for developing and administering programs and projects for the women’s ministry, children’s ministry, fundraising opportunities, and increasing community awareness of Hope Ministries of NET.
Tania is originally from Brazil where she served the Brazilian Church for years, ministering to local families. For the past 10 years, she has been pursuing her academic studies in the US with a focus on women studies and women empowerment. Tania is passionate about seeing women be set free to walk in their identities and she uses her tools in counseling and theology to support and empower women.
Tania has an MBA degree in Marketing, Master in Divinity with Christian Care and Counseling, Th.M. in Pastoral Theology and Pastoral Counseling, and certificate in Women and Gender Studies.
She is married to Dan and together they have 9 children.
Zelene Rodriguez—Administrative Assistant
Zelene Rodriguez is the Administrative Assistant of Hope of NET. She was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, TX. She is 25 years old and has been a Christian most of her life. However, she didn’t experience a relationship with God until she became a teenager. She has a passion for helping those who have been abused and those who are facing challenging situations.
She prays the same hope she received can be passed down to those in need. Zelene has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is looking forward to continuing her studies.
She is married to Jorge Rodriguez.
Belinda Kitchens joined Hope in March 2019 as a missionary. Her goal is to empower the families to walk in their gifts and discover who they are in Christ through encouragement, the Word of God, and by leading with love.
Originally from Florida, Belinda graduated with a Master’s Degree in Science and Theology from Covenant Bible College and Seminary. In addition, Belinda obtained a degree in Missionary Outreach from Harvest Mission College through Iris Global. In 2016, Belinda pursued her passion for missions when she spent five months with Heidi and Roland Baker in Mozambique, Africa. For the past six years, Belinda has been involved with Radical Restoration, a discipleship home that helps women find freedom from trauma, abuse, and other complicated problems.
Belinda is passionate about working with children to ensure they know and experience the love of the Father for themselves and walk in their God-given identities.
